Center for Foreign Affairs and Languages Training in HCMC (CEFALT) was founded pursuant to Decision - 1797/QĐ dated 13 December 1997 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. CEFALT offers training programs in international relations; legal, protocol and negotiating techniques and skills; foreign languages (English and Chinese) to government officials and all who demand. 

 As an affiliate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CEFALT is under the institutional and academic supervision of Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations. CEFALT is situated at 87 Tran Quoc Thao Street, District 3, HCMC. Its quiet and spacious location at the heart of the city, its well-equipped air-conditioned classrooms and modern facilities along with the multimedia lab and library housing a wide variety of specialized books and materials provide participants with an ideal learning environment. Apart from professional tertiary level lectures from various universities, experienced leaders and foreign affairs officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Department of External Relations also participate in teaching at CEFALT.

Over the last 10 years, CEFALT has trained thousands of participants issues ofInternational Relations, diplomatic skills (legal, protocol techniques, consular affairs, public relations, negotiating techniques...). Specialized courses such as "“Doing business with the US”, “Integration to the World Economy in the Globalization trend”, “Leadership in Government Administration”... were held under the guidance of professional and experienced lecturers from well-known international institutions and universities. CEFALT also offers special courses for companies in other provinces, designing curriculum according to particular needs and demands as requested and inviting prestigious lecturers.

CEFALT foreign languages training programs (English and Chinese) have attracted thousands of participants. Apart from programs held throughout the year at CEFALT, we also have customized programs for organisations and enterprises upon their own needs. Remarkable programs held recently, the semi-professional Translation-Interpretation Training program for officers of Đong Nai Department of Internal Relations and the Translation-Interpretation Training program for Stock Exchange Center staff, have got good comments. Thanks to the prestige and teaching quality built over the years, CEFALT has been chosen by the HCMC Committee of the Party to train English skills for leaders from government offices and big companies in HCMC…
